Pote Human, Bulls coach, was very happy with his team’s performance on Friday night against the Valke in Brakpan.
The Bulls needed to start the second half of the ABSA Currie Cup competition with a victory if they wanted to stay in the race for a home semi-final and they did just that. The Bulls pack dominated possession and this allowed their backs to play attractive running rugby at times. The Valke made to many mistakes and the season is becoming a nihgtmare for them, they try hard but to many basic errors cost them dearly. Returning Bulls loose forward, Pedrie Wannenburg, had a huge impact on the game and proved he has fully recovered from injury, scoring one of his team’s 8 tries.John Mametsa continued his good form and scored his second hat-trick of tries for the season.Final score: Bulls 48 - Valke 7
