The All Blacks entertained the crowd with a fantastic display of running rugby, scoring 13 tries in total. Graham Henry was happy with his team’s performance, although they did make plenty of mistakes. Against the bigger teams the All Blacks will have to reconsider their game plan and they will have to watch the mistakes they make. The All Blacks went through their group unbeaten, scoring 46 tries and gaining maximum points. As yet they have not been tested by the opposition and they will need to regroup before the knock out stages. Romania can feel satisfied with their performance against the top team in the world. They managed to score a well constructed try after sustained pressure on the All Black try line but in the end they just had no answer to the rampant All Black back line. Final score: New Zealand 85 Romania 8
