White unhappy with SA Rugby

SA Rugby announced that they have put together a short list of 4 people interested in the top coaching job in the country. The names on the list have not been revealed but Allister Coetzee, Peter de Villiers, Chester Williams and Heynecke Meyer have all stated that they are interested in coaching the Springbok team.

Jake White’s name does not appear on the short list since he did not apply for the job. SA Rugby confirmed that White will not be considered since he failed to meet the deadline for applications on Friday 26 October. White has a clause in his current contract that states that SA Rugby have to approach him first and find out if he is interested in staying on as Bok coach.

The new coach will probably be named in December, wich means that the Springbok tour to Wales might just be the last time that Jake White will be in charge of the RWC winners.

That is absolute bullshit! how dare they say that Jake White, the victorious Springbok coach who has led our team to victory, has to reapply for his job!! I think it is shocking that SA Rugby has not asked him, pleaded to him, to please stay on as coach, nevermind reapply for his job!
