Injuries have forced the national selectors to add three new faces to the Bok squad that tour to Wales. Danie Rossouw and Wikus van Heerden failed to pass fitness tests and are replaced by Ryan Kankowski and Hilton Lobberts. Rossouw and van Heerden are both suffering from neck injuries picked up at the World Cup. Gurthro Steenkamp is the third player to be replaced. Steenkamp picked up a nasty hand injury after a freak accident in his kitchen and has already undergone surgery to fix the problem. He is replaced by talented Free State prop Wiaan du Preez. The only good news is that Fourie du Preez passed his fitness assessment and will tour with the Springbok squad.
