Final team announcement for White

Tags: No Tags.Jake White ends his career as Springbok coach after the game against the Barbarians on Saturday and he has announced a Bok team for the last time. The team shows three changes from the one that beat Wales last week. Bismarck du Plessis, Johan Ackermann and Akona Ndugane comes into the side in place of John Smit(club commitments), Bakkies Botha( injured) and JP Pietersen(flu). Tiaan Liebenberg and Barend Pieterse comes onto the bench and will earn their first caps for the Springboks. The match does not have official test status but the new players will receive Springbok colours equal to other mid week touring Springbok sides.

The Barbarian team is coached by Ireland’s Eddie O’Sullivan and even though the European clubs withdrew a lot of the stars that would have played the side still has plenty to offer. Traditional Barbarian rugby is an open running game and O’Sullivan hopes they can do that on Saturday.
