Force steals victory in Bloemfontein

The Cheetahs took the early lead through a try by Hennie Daniller, but the Force struck back with a Matt Giteau try to level the scores. A penalty by Giteau then gave the Force the lead before the Cheetahs scored their second try and gain the lead going into the half time break.
The second half saw the teams trade penalties and the Cheetahs maintained their slender lead. With only 2 minutes left on the clock the Cheetahs had a chance to seal the victory, but the penalty attempt went wide and the Force started a counter attack from behimdtheir own try line. They kept the ball alive and managed to get into the Cheetah half of the field where a controversial penalty was awarded to the Force. Giteau stepped up to slot the kick and tyhe Force stole the victory away from the Cheetahs. Final score: Force 16 Cheetahs 15
