The Sharks maintained their unbeaten record in the 2008 Super14 competition but yet again failed to impress. The Highlanders gave the visiting Sharks a good run for their money and put up a performance that belies their 11th position on the log. Both teams scored two tries in this rather scrappy affair and in the end it was a 60m penalty by Francois Steyn that saw the Sharks sneak home to victory in the infamous “House of Pain”.
