The Waratahs made sure of a home semi final with a victory over the Reds. The match was a scrappy affair between two huge rivals, but the Waratahs outscored the Reds by two tries to one to secure the vital victory. The Reds did have plenty of opportunities in the second half but solid defense by the ‘Tahs kept them at bay. Final score: Waratahs 18 Reds 11
